Makes the open transaction read-write, as SET TRANSACTION READ WRITE, … does.
A null argument leaves that option as it was; if the transaction wasn't read-write, it starts unset, and any read-only options are dropped. systemTime, userMetadata and async apply when the transaction commits; async defaults to false.
Under manual commit with no transaction open, opens one.
Throws
outside a transaction under auto-commit, or once the transaction has run a query or a write.
